Klara Kadar  |  LMT  |  Massage Therapist

Klara is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she studied massage therapy from both Eastern and Western paradigms. Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Acupressure, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, and Pre and Post Natal Massage. Klara believes the body has an innate power to heal itself. The role of a healer is to be the guide and the facilitator, and with a push in the right direction, extraordinary things can manifest or resolve.

Massage is a great way to prepare and assist the body for the process of pregnancy and labor, making it a smoother and more pleasing experience by helping to keep the muscles relaxed and allowing the flow of energy to guide childbirth. Klara has a passion for working with mothers-to-be in preparing for the experience with prenatal massage, and through her work as a labor doula. Postnatal massage following birth is an equally important time for bodywork to help keep mothers stress free and focus on their important new role.

In addition to her prenatal and postpartum support , Klara can address various common women's health concerns with therapeutic massage, including: Stress and Anxiety, Chronic Headaches, Dysmenorrhea, Back and Neck pain, Musculoskeletal Problems, Insomnia, and Fatigue. She is currently enrolled full time in the Masters Program at Pacific College for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. Her unique understanding of Chinese meridian therapy and acupressure shines through in her massage work. Also, it makes a great addition for those undergoing treatment with one of the acupuncturists at our facility as she can assist along that healing process.
